My Personal Cantor

Jewish Interfaith Weddings

Choosing a wedding officiant for your wedding day is an incredibly important, and personal choice.

I work very closely with my couples to craft the most beautiful personalized ceremonies. Together with your desires, and my warm, understanding approach, your ceremony will be an event you and your guests will never forget. Rather than focus on rules and often outdated traditions, I believe the wedding ceremony is a celebration of your union together, and we can create a harmony of traditional, ritual customs, and your own unique style.

You are publicly stating your commitment to each other, and you want someone who will capture the essence of your union as a couple, and share it with your family and guests.

I believe that to have a truly unique, warm, and spiritual ceremony, it is important to really know who I am working with. Whether working locally, or long distance, I spend numerous hours getting to know you, your family members, and taking special care to make sure that your family and guests leave feeling as if I have known you all of your lives.

One area of expertise has been in officiating for destination wedding ceremonies. Whether your special day is in Mexico, the Caribbean, at the finish line of a marathon, or on top of a mountain, I will work closely with your family and hotel planners to create the perfect ceremony. For more insight to my destination weddings! I have experience and knowledge of many multi-cultural traditions and ceremonies. It is important to honor both partners’ heritage and traditions. I am also asked to co-officiate with other non-Jewish clergy, and I am happy to work together with a co-officiant to create a service that honors both of your heritages and traditions.

For those who desire a completely secular ceremony, we will create a beautiful service as well. Honoring a couple’s commitment to each other, we will choose words and traditions that make your nuptials a memorable event.

Check out the most beautiful spot in Florida for your beach wedding – The House of Sea and Sun in St. Augustine, FL. Sitting directly on the ocean, on B Street, Patty Steder, the Inn’s “proprietress” is an amazing hostess that will make you and your family feel like family!
