Your child has never attended Hebrew School, and just turned 11. You always intended to have your child become a Bar Mitzvah or Bat Mitzvah, but time and circumstances have prevented that from happening. What will you do? Now, you can create your own, family centered, private Bar Mitzvah or Bat Mitzvah service you will remember forever.

I consider my work with my students, adult and youth, the most rewarding of what I do. From teaching prayer-based Hebrew, to full Bar Mitzvah/Bat Mitzvah preparation, I work one-on-one to teach the necessary material, and that experience can often be more efficient and rewarding than a group surrounding. My lessons can be completed in your home, or mine, and I also offer virtual lessons for those who cannot drive or do not live locally. This is not a drive-thru experience. I work with my students for anywhere from 1-2 years, and sometimes more, to ensure they know all of the required material, and have the proper experiences that qualify them to truly become a Jewishly responsible adult in the eyes of G-d. The private, one on one experience enhances the learning process, engages the student, and results in a positive experience for everyone involved.

Your private Bar Mitzvah/Bat Mitzvah service can be held in the venue of your choice. Many of my families choose their homes, a banquet room, or a restaurant, or any meaningful quiet place where we can worship together. The important factor is that my Bar Mitzvah and Bat Mitzvah students understand and learn the meaning of the Jewish covenant, and meaningfully achieve the designation of living as an adult Jew. I work together with the family to create a personalized service that will make this a meaningful, rewarding, and positive experience for all.
